Popularly known for his watercolors of Southern culture, Wyatt Waters is a watercolor master who works solely on location – preferring the challenges that both plein air and watercolor present. Waters' works have been featured in Art & Antiques, American Artist, Plein Air, and Watercolor. His artwork can be found in both private and corporate collections. A recipient of the Mississippi Governor’s Award for artistic excellence, Wyatt has had numerous solo exhibitions at museums such as the MS Museum of Art, The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, The Meridian Museum of Art and The Jackson Municipal Gallery.
He owns and operates the Wyatt Waters Gallery in Clinton, Mississippi. He is married to Kristi Waters and together they have three children, three dogs, and two cats.
